The Gaming Brit presents...Gamecube Review Month! [Part 1: Metroid Prime]
Man, November is like the best month ever. It's close to Christmas, all the best games are released around this time of year and some of the most radical birthdays ever are celebrated.
Case in point: The Gamecube.
Nintendo's oddly-coloured gaming box launched in the US on the 18th of November 2001, and to celebrate the 10yr anniversary of the English-language release our very own Gaming Brit has decided to do a series of micro-reviews based on some of the more memorable games that the 'Cube had to offer.
First up is Metroid Prime, the superb first-person shooter/adventure game that garnered dozens of gaming awards and went on to become one of the most highly reviewed games of all time.
If this can't wash the bad taste of Other M out of Brit's mouth, nothing will!
The assault on Galahad Fortress by the Allied Forces of Bionis has begun, and Shulk and Co. use the diversion as an opportunity to plunge deeper into the body of the Mechonis.
However, not everything is as simple as it appears. Watching from the shadows, another powerful Face Mechon is just waiting for the right time to take them out. Will our heroes survive to reach the Mechonis Capital, or will this mysterious enemy prove to be too strong of a foe for even the Monado to destroy?
